Atari 7800 Homebrews that have carts (exception to one that should have made it to cart)

I want to thank all of the programmers for their labor of love that has added to the Atari 7800 library that has kept this system alive.

Albeit though doesn't the cart ONLY run on a 7800? So it's a curious dichotomy.

Not a homebrew though, all that was done is code hacks, to use the RAM of the 7800, instead of the SARA chip in the proto. ;)

I recall hearing about a hacked version for the 7800 that makes use of the extra RAM instead of using a superchip. The actual game is for the 2600 though.

Edit: sorry, those last couple posts showed up as I was typing

x 20 now that hes pretending to release a long list of games for the Intellivision that will never happen ... judging from past results .

I am not completely sure about that because people already gave Groovybee their money for the 2 intellivision games that he had a pre-order list. Mars Mini Games and Rocketeer were the two games people paid a pre-order for and they were $50.00 each before the pre-order was closed January of this year. He did not ship the games yet that people pre-ordered from him.

I don't think he would want to pretend to release 2 games that people pre-ordered for because of what he could face from a legal and reputation standpoint since people actually gave him money before the games were completed.

Wait, Super Circus Atariage has made it to cart?

It was only a few special carts, as this is an XM game, if I remember correctly.

Along the lines of Bentley Bear. (But with CPUWIZ boards Bentley Bear can be stand-alone, if it is made with a POKEY.)

Yeah no one has ever taken money for a project on Aa and failed to deliver and then faced serious consequences.

But that being said he has put a crapload of effort into these "vaporware" games I cant think of any reason why he would never want to release them and amaze us all with his "supergames" Maybe he likes the naysayer crowd??

That's a shame. Circus Atari is my favorite 2600 game. Was looking forward to this release.

If coded to support it, XBOARD can do 2xPOKEY.

I'm disappointed too, but it's kind of a low blow guys. I have a ton of "experiments" on my Cuttle Cart from many people that never turned into games. It's not like any of these people Homebrew for $250,000 a year ... they do it for their own amusement, not out of any obligation to anyone but themselves.

I liked Apple Snaffle and many of Groovy's other works in progress. Hope he decides to come back to them someday.

I don't understand pre-ordering games that aren't finished. Some people seem like they'd be happy with an empty cart and box just to say they have it. When they are actually being manufactured that's when you do a pre-order. Dropping $40 on a screen shot, you get what you deserve.
