darthkur
I've had this "honey bee super magic game converter" for about 5 years or so. It's always worked just fine. I always keep it in it's box so it hasn't been abused at all. I haven't used it in a few months and today I popped it in and I get no signal whatsoever. What could break in this damn thing like that? I tried to take it apart by removing the two screws in the back but it still wouldn't come apart. As if it was glued, perhaps. Anyone have a clue about this? yarjr
No clue. I do however know its completely unnecessary thankfully, I do hope you can get it fixed though. In the mean time just cut out the region lock tabs in your SNES. Edited June 30, 2014 by yarjr
darthkur
What about the region lock out issue? The adapter requires the placement of a US region cart in the back slot, in the second pic, to be able to load any SFC cart. So removing the tabs on a SNES might allow a SFC cart to fit but wouldn't there still be a failure to properly read it?
Rex Dart
You're not messing with European PAL carts, right? The only difference between a US cart and a JPN cart is the plastic shell. THAT is the region lock out issue. Your converter is wacky and fairly unnecessary. But what could break inside? Cheap wires, bad solder joints.
