teh_lurv
Hey everyone, about a year ago I broke my family's old Intellivision model 1 out of storage and I was dissapointed to find it would only boot to black screen. I put the console aside until today when I finally got around to open it up and take a look inside. On the power board, I noticed an immediate issue. The resistor and capacitor at the center of the board are damaged. The capacitor appears to be bulging at the bottom and the resistor as a scorch mark. The damage on the reisistor took off a good portion of the outer covering, I can't tell what color the bands are. Anyone know what kind of replacement resistor I need? thecrypticodor
Thanks for the info. It looks like I need a 12ohm 2watt resistor. The service manual list it as a 12ohm 3watt.
