tschak909
As the topic says, Am looking for a good BASIC loader menu that I can chain onto SpartaDOS. Due to the setup that I have (U1MB under Altirra), it is most convenient, to allow SpartaDOS X to switch in/out the BASIC cart as needed, and I can just as easily make a batch file to redirect and load a BASIC loader, to load BASIC games/educational software. Back in the day, I used to use Pat McCabe's Load'n'Go, which I no longer have. Do any of you have a better option? -Thom (p.s. NOT talking about an autorun, talking about a menu to select a BASIC program to load.) Worst case I can write one, but..
+CharlieChaplin
Hmmm, the "TEAC menu disk" comes to mind which is full of menu programs (even contains Load `n Go). Not sure which of these programs do run under Sparta however, since I am a DOS 2 user. From time to time I use a simple 10-sector Basic menu which shows all .BAS files on the disk and loads them. But most of the time I use ML-menus that load both BAS and COM/XEX files, but most of these menus work only under DOS 2... Attached the simple Basic menu and the TEAC menu disk here...
