exxosuk
http://exxos.www.idnet.com/IMPULSE/atari/last/psu/index.htm I updated the page today somewhat and done more tests on 2 more PSU's. I have noticed that the display dims when the floppy is accessed on these PSU's even though regulation seems reasonable. This in part may down to be failing caps or other parts, though I need to change parts to investigate this fully. Though for now, it shows that some PSU's , in particular the TOKIN PSU, is failing pretty bad. If anyone has any PSU's (230V UK) which they could donate for inclusion for review and testing then please let me know. The SR98 is the most common I have seen, though still in need of another one to do more test currently. Please also take a look at my webstore http://exxos.www.idnet.com/IMPULSE/atari/last/store.htm, any purchases made help put money back into my pot to do more research and fixes for more PSUs and many other things. KLund1
Your PSU repair parts kits are great. But only for 220v. I'm sure there are lot of 110v's that could use this kind of attention. Keep up the great work, very well done. !!!
exxosuk
Thanks Yeah the 110V ones, Id assume be more of them about worldwide, though they use totally different caps I think. I don't know what common 110V ones would be. the SR98 is common here, but I don't know if there is a SR98 110V version, or if there is some totally different model for 110V. For the record, I do have a 110V transformer, but I do not have any of the 110V PSUs, not exactly common here in the UK , being 230V. Though if anyone wants to donate any 110V types to add them to my guide then its not a problem to do so.
