He responded in decline, but did not make a counter-offer or provide any additional information concerning his expectations. When I asked for a counter-offer, he refused to give one because my offer was, to him, "an insult". Please allow me to add, that whenever I dealt with the Hoff, all offers I provided were always reasonable and not insulting, and I always find his set prices at worst to be significantly less than the typical going rate, or at best vastly cheaper. Nevertheless pixelmischief, your counterpoint is noted. If you provide an insulting offer to the Hoff, he declines and will not counter-offer...got it. Let's see if we can change that....
