F4LL3N
Hi all, As I am moving home (and downsizing) I am having to box up and store many of my consoles. So to temporarily fill the void I am turning to emulation. So I downloaded Jerome Vernet's Hatari ST emulator for mac. On my 520ST if I pop a floppy disk in to the internal drive and turn on the ST it boots the game automatically. I've noticed however that the emulator doesn't do this. Anyone give me some pointers on how to get started with this emulator? I am fairly familiar with emulation generally, as I am running some others, but I have very little experience with the ST generally and maybe there are a few things I need to know. Thanks for your help Edited August 11, 2014 by F4LL3N
ataricrypt
Hi, I know this is pretty old now and I imagine you've got this sorted ? But .. Hatari does autoboot from a floppy image just like a real ST would. Perhaps turn off the Boot from HD option in the prefs? Or maybe your disk image was corrupt? What floppy disk are your booting from? HAtari is absolutely ACE and I use it daily (wife won't allow "another daft computer" in the house so i'm stuck with emulation - but it does work a-ok fwiw) Thanks / HTH, Steve.
