mehguy
I walk into a game store and they have one in very good condition running for 550 dollars... What makes this game so rare?
CatPix
Well, it IS rare and as it works mostly with ROB, it didn't sell much. On the other hand, if you have ROB, that's one of the two games you can play with it. But I think it's just bullshit. I found one loose on a garage sale for 7€ Well even a CIB copy shouldn't sell more than 50$ I guess. It's just a shop that want to make money from you; the same shops that sell a loose NES for 80$/€. Pixelboy
Isn't Stack-Up one of those early NES carts that contained a Japanese-to-US cartridge converter? Those are in high demand...

Those are in high demand... only some of them contained them, not all stack up copies had those converters.
CatPix
I never got the thing with it. As far as I saw all copies, those are just a PCB with a connector on it... It's probably cheaper to make one than tracking a Stack-Up copy.
retroillucid
I walk into a game store and they have one in very good condition running for 550 dollars... What makes this game so rare? Getting a CIB copy is certainly rare, including the tray and all the parts, then a box in good shape + manual On top of that, it's very sough after , since alot of people want a complete black box set This one and Donkey Kong Jr Math are pain in the a$$ to get complete in box
CatPix
Oooh it's because of the Black Box set. Aye.
ntavio
They are difficult to find CIB in good condition just like Track & Field CIB for the 2600 in an untorn box. Also, it's a game for use with R.O.B. the Robot which many people didn't buy.
