The SIO2BT app is compatible with all Android devices starting from Android 2.1. If only your tablet has a bluetooth on board, everything should work well. It is basically a OS switch which additionally controls STEREO (enable/disable) and RAM (64kB/512kB/1MB). To save your time (if are interested and do not want read through several pages), here is a small summary about the current status of the project: I am kind of interested. If you are fine with 19200 (standard ATARI disk baudrate) then SIO2BT + a customized OS (EPROM) is a pretty good solution. For 57600, you would need other "thingies" The big Q then becomes will it be then cheaper than just getting a Lotharek? Lotharek offers several solutions for ATARI (SIO2PC, SIO2SD, SIDE2, etc.). I personally use SIO2BT most of the time, but if you just begin your adventure with new accessories I would go for SIO2SD from Lotharek. Especially: 1) I understand that MyIDE II devices shipped by Steve come with an older firmware version, is it correct? Yes I made this, FAT-loader is by Steve. 2/ All releases, manuals and stuff are on the user forum, hosted by atarimax.com 4.8.06 is the latest stable and official version, but there have been many beta's that are quit stable. Last released and stable beta is 4.9.B16 (found on the forum). The RAM version loaded from MyIDE is not on it yet. The bootloader was broken, redoing that at the moment. So, perhaps, soon, you can download both. :-) I will include a change log. mr-atari Posted April 22, 2017 Share Posted April 22, 2017 Fixed..... MyBIOS-RAM now included on the MyIDE-][ content. SIO-supports 19k2, 38k4 and 57k6 to any device. SIO2BT-support is default ON. You can change this to OFF during "power-up". This will speed-up serial IO when you try to access a not present device. The new BIOS has a check-summed configuration-byte. If this is corrupted by any (ab)using software, it tries to recover or reset to default. But Bluetooth has a transponder delay of about 50 ms on each IO-command.
