Can you save over or erase current data on Iron Soldier?

I couldn't find anything about this...wondering if anyone knew.

IIRR pressing * and # together erases save game data for most Jag games.

you could look at the manuals in the game database section of this site. here is what you're looking of in regard to Iron soldier.

I think several games, to reset the eeprom, require you to on the title or options screen to press "option" + * + # at the same time for a few seconds.   ;-)

No it doesn't. It resets the game.

Pressing * + # + option does erase the saves for most games, however.

After playing obsessively I figured out it's one of those that you can only have 1 save file - if you want a new game you have to start from the beginning and finish the first four levels and it gives you the option to save over previous data. I feel dumb :P
