Willsy
In the absence of a good copy (at the moment) of the MG Explorer manual, how about a crowd-sourced re-typed/edited version? Here's the first three pages to start things off: MG Explorer.txt If you want to add a few pages yourself, just say which pages you're going to take, and then add them to the text file and up-load it. With a few of us doing it, we'll soon get this manual done. Text only. We'll do the formatting later I use Notepad++. Linux users, note that this file is formatted with Windows style line endings. I'm thinking to do final formatting (when all the text is done) with Open Office or Libre, because: * It's completely free (and very good) * Runs in both Linux and Windows * Produces *excellent* PDF output. The best I've seen. * The Open Document Standard can be read/written with (later) versions of Microsoft Word. To save folks from looking in other threads, here's the original scanned PDF that I am using as a source: MG Explorer Manual.pdf Edited August 28, 2014 by Willsy
dphirschler
I'll help out. But first I am gonna dig a little. I might have this manual. I had a fair amount of MG stuff back in the day. And I recognized the screen from MG Explorer put up recently (or maybe not so recently, but i just saw the thread for the first time). So I am pretty sure I have the software too. +Lee Stewart
Perhaps, those about to invest time in typing pages of this manual should post their intentions lest duplication of effort occur. ...lee
