Work resumes on Castle of Doom. I spent some time last night trying to add animations to the game, but sometimes it looked as though Bob was floating in the air even though he was on the edge of a block. I eventually gave up. So now I have some more room to make more rooms thanks to bogax. I think the final game will be 8k. One bank for the gameplay data and the other one almost entirely filled with the room data. I suspect I will have a ton of room left in bank 1, so I think I will make the song longer. Right now, you can switch it between on and off with the b&w/color switch. (F3 and F4 in Stella.) And it has 20 rooms. I am wondering though, if room 20 is too hard. Take a look in the bB forum for the latest binary file. I also changed the "room #" font. Although it is now not centered, I still like it better. It took multiple attempts to get it just right, but it was worth it. I think I may be able to fit 35 rooms in the game. Maybe more. We'll wait and see. So just for now, all I'm going to do is make rooms. I have 1,385 bytes left in bank 2. I also changed the title screen. Now the words "castle of doom" are centered and red. So anyway, I'll be really happy come tomorrow since my sister will be coming home from Disneyland and the extra dog will be back where it belongs. And I'm sure the dog will be happy as well. And I'm sure our dog will be happy as well. I think our dog and her dog are really sick of this.
