i don't mess with ebay have been sent back different items after a dispute and buyer still wins because ebay is b/s and always sides with buyers if they send a tracking number package back. sorry these are legit i can take pics of my name, date, time, newspapers, ect.. anything ill even open them up for serious buyers. im based out of upstate NY

dont come to me with weak offers please. do some research first, hell a 4MB version sold today on scamBay for 900$

First off ... if you don't like the offers then post an asking price. You're inviting low ball offers ...

Secondly, most of us aren't ready to jump on a $900 item from a brand new member with no track record. At least eBay, as mentioned, gives the buyer some protection. Mentioning that you've had returns on eBay that you didn't want to refund after an issue doesn't exactly give us a warm and fuzzy either.

Good luck with your sale.

EDIT: And your boot pictures link is invalid ... and the one on "scambay" is in MINT condition. Yours is missing keys ...

lol at your ignorance. if u think ebay is a good selling place then you must be living in circa 2003... dont come to me with your BS friend. real collectors looking for these know what there worth. again dont need ignorance here. have a good day.

shit you in ohio? come by and check it out right in buffalo... im not no scammer, i will deal hand to hand if possible anytime. disrespectful words

to your low ball offers remark, i have no porblem if there low ball ones that we can work out, but saying 200 dollars is insulting to an Atari collector.

edit: missing two keys, bettor coloring then that fake "mint" one that one was not mint be honest with yourself. thank you for the link i have fixed it somehow it added the words after in the link. one on SCAMBAY was 4MB not 14MB and not that Hdd matters but 60mb to 80mb so please do research yourself

edit2: this is the first time i ever had a conversation back and forth with edits

No ignorance here ... I know the value of the item. My main points were to put a price tag on your items and to inform you that many people aren't comfortable buying from someone here who just signed up and their first post is to sell something. Many have been burned by losers who come on selling something wonderful and then get stiffed. You may be the greatest guy in the world, but we have no evidence of that.

Shit, I am in Ohio. And what is disrespectful? I'm trying to help you sell here by telling you what I believe many here are thinking ... it's up to you to either heed the advice and to adjust tactics accordingly or continue on your present course.

Once again, good luck with your sale.

This comment isn't specific to you, it could easily apply to dozens of other threads around here:

I wouldn't doubt that people are low-balling you, but it is pretty obvious that you have at least some idea what you would like to get out of these computers. Why not just save everyone's time and put the price in the posting?

I am certainly in drivable distance to upstate NY. How much do you want for Atari 800 ? Does it have working joysticks and all cables ?

have a few people interested in the 800xl with the 1010. i have paddles, 1 joystick, 2 mice, power cord, av cord. the 1010 also has the peripherals cable. basically throw me an offer and whoever works out a deal first can get it.

were u interested in the 1010 as well or just the standalone 800

I think he seller misunderstands the point of selling on AtariAge. Hint: it's not a way for someone with no history to sell at the same price as eBay sellers do, while avoiding eBay and PayPal fees, and the risks that eBay sellers take.
