rustynutt
My Milan is an early model, pretty sure, and that hasn't the upgraded bus IC's (yet). Runs well at 33MHz, the software load to enable SCSI is there (thanks to Michael for that!), however after trying 15 variations of Adaptec cards (most new excess from the old job), haven't gotten very far other than garbled boot up info. Other than that, is a nice machine. Have been testing an 060 adapter, but wish to confirm with other Milan 060 users if there was difficulty getting the 060 running without replacing the necessary IC’s to get SCSI working properly, or on the original flash, or configurable existing BIOS settings. Haven't checked the ramp up time of the power supply yet, not sure of what to look for, or if a cap change would smooth the ramp up within spec the Milan requires for the 060 installation. Thanks for taking the time, if you know of a user that may not frequent the English speaking boards, would appreciate passing this request on to other Planetoid Atarians. +DarkLord
You should get Jo Even Skarstein and Lonny Pursell involved in this thread.
rustynutt
Jo Even is out terrorizing roads on his motorcycle I imagine Do need to research and contact more Milan users. Just need to boot the Milan logo. A cork pop of bubbly would follow, then quickly back to the parent project
Zogging Hell
I have a Milan but sadly no CPU upgrade and don't use SCSI, so I'm not a lot of help really!
doctorclu
I used to want a Milan. The ads in the Atari User magazine were just inspiring.

Kyle22
You should get Jo Even Skarstein and Lonny Pursell involved in this thread. If anyone knows how to contact Lonny, I would highly appreciate the info. He may have contact info for Frank Ostrowski. Over on the 8 bit forums, we would love to get the source code for Frank's excellent TurboBASIC-XL. Thanks!
Christos
Well, lp is a member on these forums so it's not hard to find him. However he updates GFA from the disassembled executable and he doesn't have access to the source.
lp060
You should get Jo Even Skarstein and Lonny Pursell involved in this thread. I had a Hades060 (may it rest in peace) so I'm not really qualified to help with Milan issues.
