TXG/MNX Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Hello, I got a Falcon030 in DeskTopper case with seperate keyboard only cable is lost during several moves. I'm sure that there must be some connectors too involved Since regular Falcon has no connector for external keyboard, which type you did not find interesting to share with us, all what I can say is: look connectors on Falcon and on keyboard. rustynutt Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Best has the RJ type plug short wired to a keyboard header on the Falcon for next to nothing. A small incision on the right side of the case is a nice spot to locate the female end. (ummm ). Don't recall where, if at all, the Desktopper relocated the recepticle. The one from Best isn't very long. TXG/MNX Posted September 4, 2014 Author Share Posted September 4, 2014 It seems a straight cable will try got the cable only lost my monitor adapter for the falcon030 so ordered some at best electronics could not find other resource so need to wait two weeks. My falcon030 desktopper works 14mb but need to look because the ide hdd is not detected maybe a loose cable. The keyboard works, I needed a din5 male > din5 female cable (straight) I am happy it worked. Now checking the hdd and will replace it by CF, add NetUSB.
