+save2600
Ran into a guy that was selling a shoebox full of loose Colecovision carts today. Wanted $5ea. or $40 for the whole box (there really weren't that many games - maybe 10-11). At $5ea. for something like DK, I know better, but there were a couple of curiosities, so please read the descriptions next to the cart listing. I didn't buy anything as I do not collect for the system, but was curious if any of these were worth picking up for resale or trade bait: Frogger II: Threedeep Front Line - plain looking white label cart w/ black lettering One-on-One - again, another plain looking white labeled cart Skiing - same white label, black text - these late Telegames' releases to go with that cheesy Dina system or what? lol Spectron - always neat seeing a Spectravision game in the wild Pitfall! or Pitfall II - can't remember ..asked the guy if he had the system any longer, any boxes or manuals either - but they're long gone. These are the only rare games I can remember. He had a smattering of less rare stuff such as DK, Defender and the super action baseball game. Atari_Bill
Wow, a few rarities in a garage sale find! Hard to imagine in this day. Frogger II, One on One, and Specton are all decent toughies. Nice.
ColecoDan
the white lable black lettering are from Telegames which makes them worthless except for maybe some psycho collector that wants every variation.

They could also be from ADAM's House (eColeco) or Walters Software Co. especially if the label text was printed using a dot matrix printer. No, they did not look like they were printed using a dot matrix printer - I'd recognize *that* type of look pretty easy.
Crazy Climber
I had a box of commons in my garage sale for $20 on Saturday and nobody wanted them, lol
hardhat
the white lable black lettering are from Telegames which makes them worthless except for maybe some psycho collector that wants every variation. Skiing was only ever issued at retail in a Telegames blister pack with the plain white label and black printing AFAIK. So if you want a loose cart collection, this is the only way it was ever made. Unless someone else has seen a different version. Released around 1987 or 1988 as I recall.

I think it is just like amazing bumpman with silver background and black lettering? I would have to check to see what it looks like when I go home but I thought that is what I remember it looking like.

I don't recall exactly, but blister pack sounds correct and possibly a plastic baggie release was made as well. There definetely was not a release in the green plastic clamshell with insert sheet like some of the other Telegames releases. There were two label variations used: - Silver label with "Telegames presents Skiing" broken up on three lines and contained in a CBS Electronics cart shell. - White label with black text and contained in the Bit Corp. cart shell that is similar to the Coleco cart shell. I don't have a good picture of the silver label version, but I do own it.
Rik
I remember buying CV One on One Basketball a while back off eBay without researching it 1st. I have the 7800 version which is great. I figured the CV version would be better for obvious reasons. WTF? the players look like Gingerbread men. I thought how can this be? man was i disappointed. Must be lazy programming, I'm quite sure the CV is more capable of making the One on One players look better than yummy looking cookies!!! Using magnified sprites in One-on-One just to avoid having to deal with sprite flicker was a bone-headed decision.
Rik
Using magnified sprites in One-on-One just to avoid having to deal with sprite flicker was a bone-headed decision. Are you serious! man that IS bone headed!!! That idiotic decision ruined what i believe could have been a great version of One on One. I don't remember what the playability was like though, but the graphics sure didn't help. Edited September 12, 2014 by Rik
shadow460
I had a box of commons in my garage sale for $20 on Saturday and nobody wanted them, lol Not too many folks around here show much interest in the ColecoVision. Most of the game shops just mix the games in with 2600 titles.
