I have some questions about pricing and troubleshooting. 1) Tell me, Is this guy crazy, or do you think it will sell? Im looking for some of the more common games like FON and spinball. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3&category=4315 2) Is there a way to get the buzzing noise out of the sound system? It gets annoying sometimes, sound like somethings gonna blow up. I figure somebody has figured a way to add a noise capacitor or something to eliminate it. 3)Also, the picture on the screen is starting to act up. It seems to lose its brightness when I first start it up. I have to tap on the case a couple of times to get it to work right. oesii Posted March 24, 2003 Share Posted March 24, 2003 This page has a bunch of mods for the Vectrex including some to get rid of that famous buzz: http://www.playvectrex.com/vectech_f.htm I found a low tech solution mentioned in the vectrex newsgroups a few times has worked great for me. I simply put a couple of pieces of clear packing tape over the speaker grill and the buzz has been reduced without too much interference for normal sound effects.
