Commando XEX game file?

Hi, all ATARI fans.

I have a PAL ATARI 130XE and a Side2 cart.

It's not easy for me to find or make work some games.

For the moment i can only make work XEX games.

So many are still missing.

Is there someone who can make a conversion of Commando.rom (or ATR) to a XEX file so

i can play one of my favourite games?

I saw Xuel made a great work for Joust.

Thanks to him finally i got a working XEX file for joust.

Best regards.

Commando as XEX version needs 320KB memory, so that won't run on your 130XE.

There is a Commando for 64K computers that runs when you have a MyIDE ][ interface, but I understand you don't have that.

SIDE2 will only do XEX unless you have an Ultimate 1MB interface installed.

You are not going to find it. lance at video61 has the rights, along with many others including Xenophobe. You can buy it on cart from him, as well as many others.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

I don't know if they ship to France since i'm french.

Do you think NTSC carts will work on a PAL 130 XE without any problems?

That's what i understood, even if the side2 does not come with a lot of information.

Even if i don't have such an amount of memory i am interested in the Commando XEX version.

Could you post it, if you have it?

At the moment i am doing some soldering, replacing capacitors, etc.., but i fear to make a mistake

installing the ultimate board and burn my 130XE motherboard.

If you want it to run on a stock 800xl or 130xe then do what ProWizard and Paul suggested.

1.Put it on a "MyIde 2" cart

2.Buy the cart from Video 61

3.Put it on "THE!CART" cart (My recommendation, The!Cart, is well worth the money)

There are two executable versions, both attached here. The 320K version needs more RAM, as the title screen music and graphics were changed.

Thank you very much for the files.

Each one asks for 192kb xms or 256kb xms at least.

So i think it's time for me to get the ultimate extension.

I saw they can do the soldering job on lotharek website, i'll may ask them.
