World Tour Racing Price

Was going to say something to that effect - rarity of 7 must have been based on the fact it was "out of print" for a while. At least here in the States. Songbird is getting his copies from Telegames UK if I'm not mistaken.

A game that is currently being produced isn't really rare, is it?

I checked in the garbage, but *I couldn't find any all I found were Blackouts.

*Fixed it for me.

the AA rarity guide has some of those Telegames releases at 7 even when they were available from Telegames US, it even has some Songbird games at 7 even though they've been consistently available since their release. Most rarity guides that I've seen (AA, DP) are littered with inaccuracies or questionable ratings which makes them pretty worthless imo (they just give sellers an excuse to add "SUPER VALUABLE RARITY OF 7" to their auctions. I'd rather see firm numbers like "number of copies produced / number of copies sold" but of course the people who make these rarity guides don't have this information for most of the games ;)

Add to that, that rarity scales are all relative - Jaguar items are like default rarity 6 compared to Playstation games considering how poorly the system sold. Rarity guides don't have an absolute and relative rating scale so often the rarity guide is a poor mix of the two.

Cyrano's unparalleled hatred of Blackout! never ceases to amaze me. LOL

Its such a shame. Nice music, ok graphics, good presentation. Zero game. Such a wasted effort (drama included) for all that time invested. Especially given you can write the logic for lights out in under 30 minutes. Would it really have killed them to do that?

Surely you've experienced a decimal point malfunction... :P

BTW: the engine of that game is based on Lankhor's Atari ST game "Vroom" (matter of fact, Domark's F1 is just "Vroom Multi-Player" with a FIA license - it even says so on the back side of the box):

Vroom was originally written for the Sinclair QL (the computer Linus Torvalds first owned), but the QL version is really underwhelming:
