Halloween

1 - Its not crazy rare, more its in demand and popular. It was made by a smaller company though so it had a smaller print compared to many Atari games

2 - Start a wanted topic in the marketplace or keep an eye on ebay :) If you are okay with a reproduction you can get it considerably cheaper ($25ish)

It was licensed, but only sold to adults, and sold mainly in Adult stores. My brother got a complete in box copy at a swap meet twenty years ago, with Miner 2049er. I bought two Parker Bros games complete in box that are worth about two dollars today. Oh well, we actually played and enjoyed Hawlloween.

How do you get a Hozer repro?

Basically just email him a request with the ROM file and label image of your choosing (he has several labels on his website you can choose from if you don't have one of your own, though most have that goofy Hozer crazyface logo on them...if you have a better label image for Halloween, I'd go with that). He makes his carts to order. His prices vary a little bit depending on things like RAM size, but most of them he'll do for ~$11 or $12 shipped IIRC.

His [very archaic] website is hozervideo.net.

I went ahead and ordered a repro of Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The price he asked for both was just $22. He even had the ROM files and the proper labels ready to go! :)

Sounds like a good price for two repo's. At least Hozer marks his as being repos with that crazy face of his. The problem and main issue that many have with him is that he's made repos of homebrews with no permission from the creators to do that. I'm not sure if he still does that, though. Personaly, I think it's better to order your repos from AtariAge, but Albert is super busy these days....probably get a faster turn around time with Hozer.
