Hi!

I got a request to unpin the sticky thread "Upcoming TI-99/4A events".

I'd like to hear what you guys think about the thread. Should we keep it up there or can it be unpinned? Cast a vote!

Cheers

EDIT: Forgot to mention; The poll is open until November 1st 2014.

Personally I think more people should make use of this feature:

http://atariage.com/forums/calendar/

You can add events to it and look for them and get reminders.

Maybe there is some way we can have a 'TI99 only calendar' setup just for us to use here on AtariAge, not sure if the forum admins can do that.

How about we start by someone posting the Faire on the calendar? The only problem I see with the current sticky is someone has to update it. Which also means coordinators have to inform that someone, but they or someone would also have to update the calendar. The thread often carries information during each event but each event each year could have its own thread, too.

I do use it to refer to when there is a posted change. We don't have a lot of TI events each year (many more in Europe than in the US), and a goodly number of those in the US don't show up (like the monthly meeting of the Chicago UG). I think we need to start using more of its potential. . .
