ckoba
Has the creator (Jamie Mailong IIRC) moved commerce to a website now? I've purchased mine (which appears to be a clone, possibly unlicensed) from Stargames at http://www.stargames.be/shop/accessoires/4085-compactflash-drive-rs-232-nanoped.html ... ... I've seen posts that indicate that the quality control on the Stargames units is pretty bad. If it works when it arrives, I'll dump the EPROM and see if I can extract the FPGA code. From what I've seen of the board, it shouldn't be too hard to whomp up a PCB. My intention is to a) ensure that I can reproduce this thing if it dies, b) disable the onboard 32k expansion in favor of the no-wait-state onboard 32k expansion and c) see if it's possible to replace the CF with SD. Stargames reverse-engineered it, so it must be possible ...
Willsy
I don't think they're copies. I think they're from Jaime. We'd have to ask to be sure. I'm fairly sure he's a native French speaker, and I notice that the website is based in Belgium. I kind of assumed that he was a French Canadian, however! +retroclouds
I am sure the units are not clones, he bought them from Jaime. He is from the French speaking part of Belgium. Have not seen him around here for a long time, though
