jhd
There are a few surviving examples (and many photographs) of the hardware developed jointly by Nintendo and Sony that would play both SNES cartridges and (to be developed) CDs. This system ultimately became the original PlayStation after the agreement broke down. My question -- is any of this prototype hardware functional? Obviously the it will not play CD games (as none were created), but will any of the surviving examples even play SNES (Super Famicom) cartridges?
