Andromeda Stardust
This add-on board will allow you to dump Atari games with a Retrode. Support for Atari was built into the latest firmware, but the add-on was never released. Retrode.org did, however, provide files for a PCB layout. My guess is these were planned but never produced due to lack of interest. http://www.retrode.org/plug-in-adapters/ User Jazzmarazz of NA said he found a source for the 24-pin cart connectors and also found a website that can manufacture the required PCBs for cheap (like $1 each) even in small batches. No controller port pinouts are included but I don't believe they are necessary since standard Atari joysticks should work fine in the Retrode Genesis port. Retrode plugin would make a nice tool for dumping Atari games and should work with standard bank-swap schemes which use 4k banks. Unlike the finished add-ons for the N64/Game Boy/SMS, the A2600 add-on will not have a case shell. Just plug the PCB into the Retrode and plug the cartridge on top. We want to know by show of hands how many Retrode owners would be interested in a Retrode plugin for the Atari? Thanks. Hopefully we hear back from Jazzmarazz shortly. Andromeda Stardust
He actually did make some (I have one the Retrode guy built). I never got mine to work. They don't work? Care to elaborate? Is only dumps 4k or are all games affected?
