0078265317
I broke the y cable for my wico (5200 version). The 15 pin connector snapped off. But it was custom anyway. I didn't make it. Don't know why they never made it 15 pin to begin with. None one ebay or amazon right now. If can't find any I might sell it. But what is a fair price to start with? bohoki
a few wires in my y broke so i made a new one its not hard if you can solder and follow directions it just looks ugly the reason they use a y cable is because there is no start button the reason they use a 9 pin is because that is what they have lying around
AtariBrian
Pay what you would be willing to pay . But considering that they are not easy to come by you might have to shell out some extra . I would guess somewhere from 20 to 30ish would be acceptable . If you don't want to pay that much and want to hold out until you find something cheap and be flustered while you wait for a deal then wait . If one comes up on ebay I would just snatch it up . 0078265317
OK, I found one but he is asking way too much. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WICO-Command-Control-Joystick-and-Y-cable-for-ATARI-TESTED-WORKING-/251728632171?pt=US_Video_Game_Controllers&hash=item3a9c32196b

0078265317
Or is it possible ti build a small box like masterly but specifically for the wico. Or I already have a 15 pin y so just a box with 9 on one side and 15 on the other. Nothing fancy.
bohoki
sure you can put it in a box but boxes cost money molded plugs are cheap i just goo mine with hot glue also you do not need to connect pin 1 the joystick does not need the 5 v on pin
0078265317
But a box is more permanent and idoesn't break like a cable. And plastic boxes are cheap.
0078265317
I finally tracked down a Y cable. But every time I add to cart and enter zip code and say recalculate it emptys cart. http://4jays.net/store/page72.html
0078265317
Never mind I figured it out. It says zero and then you have to select 1 and put in zip code and then recalculate. Not sure why its zero after adding tot he cart. But just enter 1 and then recalculate. But with shipping its 26 dollars and 80 cents. So I'm going to pass.
