I enjoyed my day today with large does of inty with family and tons of food of course!

 

And I found what happens when you play Utopia for way way way to long haha

Wow, I haven't played Utopia in years but don't you set the number and length of years in the beginning? What settings did you use?

In my experience, Utopia tends to have two different strategies, depending on whether you make the rounds long (meaning more time for activity around fishing and PT boats and crops to deal with good rain) or short (meaning more time for manufacturing and etc). Anyway, that kind of board would be possible with many long rounds, is that correct?

Yes you set number of rounds and the term of office (seconds per round) when you start the game.

we maxed it out....50 rounds and 120 seconds....so about 100 minutes

and we played all the way thru.

we would have filled the whole screen completely with boats but those pesky typhoons kept crashing thru our fleets hahaha it was fun to watch

Our people ate a lot of fish as we had nowhere left for planting crops

Utopia was always a favorite on the inty there was nothing really like it back in the day and it was great for 2 players and not having to take turns!
