MrTibbers
So I've heard that a lot of games that dont say they are improved by the 8MB expansion jumper actually have a noticeable improvement in framerate and other things. What I'm wondering is if someone made a custom 16MB expansion, do you think these games would have an even greater improvement? Most of these games came out before the 8MB jumper even existed so I dont think it was a planned improvment
toptenmaterial
Hmmm, I wonder what 16mb could really do for it. If I recall correctly the original jumper was only 2 or 4, and the Nintendo DS was 4 stock.
OldSchoolRetroGamer
Doubt it, these cartridge games would have only been programmed / designed to take advantage of the extra amount of resources written for them, even with the extra RAM available the games would not look for it.
