Purchasing an ATARIMAX Ultimate SD cart- How long usually?

I appreciate your opinion on the matter fujidude however what does a confirmation email guarantee? My Pandora confirmation handled just fine has resulted in many years without a product and options to pay more for an upgraded system. The irony was that after time the great service ceased to exist. If I am lucky I may one day get a system from those who donate to help those that did not receive one. The retro gaming community is a tight nit group of folks who support vendors who create items that are unique and in many cases the ones that provide the least "customer experience" in the end are the best. Isn't this a niche hobby after all?

Thanks. I respect the rights of others to hold their own views too. You're right of course, a confirmation email proves nothing. But that doesn't somehow mean that it is not useful or proper for honorable vendors to communicate with their cusotmers. If I were in the OPs position, I would not be happy either. If I were wanting to buy something from Atarimax (today), I wouldn't. I would wait and see how this comes out 1st. When someone can't (or won't) manage to contact a customer via at least a simple easy email after this amount of time, it sends red flags up for me. None of the reasons I start to imagine for it instill confidence. If you're prepared to send off 3 figure sums based on past reputation but inspite of current information, I have no beef with that. As I said before, this is just one guy having a problem. And no offense to the OP, but we don't even know for sure he is for real. I tend to think he is but truthfully, I dunno. This is the internet.

There are people on this site waiting for Atari 7800 add-ons for **4 years** and don't have them yet. Put that into proper perspective, vis-a-vis some whiny bitch who emailed Atarimax (Steve) and had a slight (talking days, not weeks, not months, not years) delay and pisses and moans about it. Fine. Don't buy from Atarimax. Go to Walmart. Good fucking luck with finding the specialty shit that Atarimax sells, but go on with your bad self.

You know, the OP DID apologize in post #33, it is everyone else going on and on about it.

Thank you, for policing the thread. I give you an honorary badge and gun.....

...for your efforts. :)

Policing? Hardly, I was just pointing out something that judging from your last response I assumed you had missed since you seemed to be going on as if the OP still had an issue. Excuse the hell out of me. You can state an opinion based on observation, someone else does it and suddenly they are "policing" the thread, give me a friggin break.

"My bad" (if I may use a cliche'). I like ya and I apologize for the above. :)

I ordered something from him a few months ago and it took much longer than my original order a few years ago. I would definitely not be surprised if it takes 3-4 weeks. I also thought I heard he was having a few issues. I have not heard from anyone though who thinks he is not reliable for getting your product.

Of course you received it..! Everyone told you that you would..! New Yorkers like yourself, are the reason people seem to get very annoyed w/ New Yorkers..Just saying.

Patience is a virtue, but ColecoVision is a "Way of Life". If you haven't already, you are about to find out what an incredible product the AtariMax Ultimate SD Cart is. Have fun playing all the great CV games and hunting down all the Homebrew games and demos that have been made available in rom image format.
