I'm looking for complete, retail and retail-quality games that are for the Falcon, but not the ST. Fletch Posted January 10, 2015 Share Posted January 10, 2015 I've been playing the heck out of this one the last couple of weeks. So much better than the original Racer. It is rather hard though, at least for me, on anything but the novice setting. My only complaint would be the collisions. If you hit anything along the roadside, you just stop. I found only this: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4643 There are some new games made in meantime for sure, but I'm really not much interested for Falcon SW - I'm ST guy mostly Know only about Elansar (commercial) and this Racer game. Need to fix Falcon before more playing - it gets unstable after some minutes. Maybe good idea too would be to list Falcon games with Hi-color - 16 bit color (called True color in Falcon time) - like 2 mentioned later ones. Maybe most of Falcon only games is with it ? But it suffers from a very common mistake made by developers of this kind of game: pitch rotation is exaggerated on the turns. From a rear view, the only time you should see any pitch rotation is when the car is sliding. Otherwise, lane changing at high speeds (as we drivers know) is done with very small adjustments via the steering. At Atarimania it gives lot of ST, STE games which work on Falcon. But much less than really works (unchanged) . There is compatibility list with some suggestions how to set some games to work on Falcon (via STEtoFalc or similar), but it is not much interesting now, when lot of games is fixed for ..
