walter_J64bit
Is there a way to make .Stx files to .st or .msa files?
ParanoidLittleMan
Yes, but that has sense only with not copy protected ones. What means too that you need some experience and knowledge to recognize what is protected, and what not.
walter_J64bit
It's funny you said that, this is what I've found so far. There's a way for me to use the *.STX files on real hardware. This is from the read_me files in with the PastiTools. Write back Images to physical diskPasti ST is read only software. It doesn't write back Pasti images tofloppies. There are other Pasti tools for writing back images, but theyrequire special hardware. The Discovery Cartridge for the ST and theCatweasel for the PC are currently supported. Write back on a plain PC orST is not supported. I do have a Discovery Cartridge but Ive haven't found the tools to let me use the Discovery Cartridge in this way yet. ParanoidLittleMan
Walter, I really don't see what you really want. If you want to write STX files on real floppies (what is by me something what may work only in rare cases, because whole format is not really write friendly), you don't need to convert them to ST or MSA for sure. In any case, try to contact Jorge Zwick (Ijor) for DC SW .
