Good ole' Rellik111. :lolblue:

If he had raised the price $4,000 from his starting price of $10,000 instead of reducing it, I would have been all over it... but seeing as he reduced the price, the game most not be that good and therefore not worth buying. :ponder:

Does he actually sell anything at those prices? Do people actually bite? Is anyone that dumb?

Don't know if he has ever sold a CV item at these greatly inflated prices, but if he has, more power to him as this hobby of our's is a pretty expensive endeavor. Heck, my PayPal account is a little low (actually $00.00), so maybe I should test the waters on eBay as well.

If you search his ebay account, he currently has 59 items for sale, but has only sold 3 items in the last 3 months. One of those was a $20 item, one was a $30 item, and the 3rd item was Red Dead Redemption collectors edition he asked $13,000 for, and sold for $779.

He won't be able to retire with his ebay money, but he is hoping to get one sucker to buy one of his way overpriced items, and make some good money. And if you wait long enough, sometimes you can get a sucker to buy it.

But it is a signed, boxed, numbered , prototype from the famous Collectorvision Labs!!!!!

It is incredibily Rare!!! I worth at least 3 times that price!!!!! :rolling:

Some people are ready to pay very high for certain things they want.

I remember one guy few year that offered me , if i remember well around 2000usd for a signed copy of Ghost'n Zombie. I refused ( i know i'm crazy ) , but it is simply unbelievable for me that somebody was ready to pay such a money just for my game.

...and in the meanwhile, make the general public think that these games are worth much more than they really are. The consequences then hurts us all.

This is what drives me nuts. I'm a moderate collector and pick up loose carts when I have the spare money and dabble in the occasional Homebrew (Golden Chalice for the win!). Would I love a copy of Mario Bros. for my CV? You bet I would. I totally agree that all this does is inflate the costs of other eBay vendors and even some brick and mortar vendors who use it as a reference. Yuck,

Rumor has it that the beer he was reviewing prior to listing was 26.5 % vol. and when he passed out his nose hit the zero key...

F-in lightweights! The lesson to be learned hear is if you are getting hammered, don't be listing items on eBay, rather you should be watching some porn or at least some ultimate fighting.

Whats even more pathetic is one of the slimeball's videos he has a (sealed) prototype ... that doesn't even make sense .

I honestly believe most of these ridiculously high auctions that are "won" are scams e.g. shill bidders to raise the believability of the scammers other "buy it now" price seeing as other auctions closed much higher...yeah right. I also believe most end of with the buyer not paying, like so many online auctions. I will not believe most of these crazy auctions until these high profile auctions show some proof that someone actually paid those insane prices, not just "won" an auction.

Of course this is just my opinion.
