Bentley bear on cartridge?

I have a cart of this, but it's one of those rare prototypes given out to people who helped out making the game (I did the music) ... still haven't played mine on real hardware yet, I need to get a power adapter for my 7800, the original died in the 1990's.

This was a lot of fun to do music for. But I still haven't been able to beat the game. :)

The only thing stopping this from being released is the lack of Pokeys. Kinda makes me wish I had done TIA from the start, as this would have been released 3 years ago. :(

The background music would have suffered, but I think it would have been ok.

Thanks for the information and for your great work! :) Hope someday the cart will see the light. Lotharek, for example, is still selling pokeys http://www.lotharek.pl/product.php?pid=136.

On MSX for example the SCC from Konami was cloned into FPGA.

Regards,

It is all about being vigilant, I now have tubes full of POKEY chips, because I thought more people would be interested in my devkit. LOL

There's a work-alike HOKEY sound chip project in work ... don't know how close it is to being "ready for prime time," but once it's done, it will relieve a lot of issues.

I am not sure who is working on the Hokey chip, but I have heard the rumors for a long time. It just seems like another project that people are holding out for. Hopefully it works out, but nobody is going to get rich producing Pokey replacement chips. I can't imagine it is a high priority for anybody.
