kisrael
So, a decade ago I made JoustPong... it took like a year and a half! A few weeks ago I wrote up the story here: http://kirkdev.blogspot.com/2015/01/programming-atari-2600-part-i-joustpong.html Then for Global Game Jam I used batari BASIC and got a game done in a weekend! http://kirkdev.blogspot.com/2015/02/programming-atari-2600-part-ii.html The games of some similarity - both are pretty decent little head to head games.

+Cafeman
I won your JoustPong contest at PC - 2002? I wore that white shirt all the time until it disintegrated! It's a cool game, I read your Blog article too.
gauauu
Thanks for posting this. I haven't yet gotten to those specific 2600 articles, but I'm enjoying your blog so far. (It's hard to find good programming blogs!)

+SpiceWare
It's hard to find good programming blogs! Have you run across my blog? I mostly blog about the development of my games, you can use the links in the Categories groupbox in the right side of the screen to easily read specific blog entries such as the series on Medieval Mayhem. I also did Collect, a series on developing a 2K Atari game, and recently started up a new series on DPC+ ARM Development (used for Space Rocks and Stay Frosty 2). Yeah, I discovered that not long after showing up here and getting interested in 2600 development. Thanks!
