JonnyBritish
I have been using the previous generation for retro consoles like the 7800 for a number of years and happened to spot this new version at Best Buy last night for 129 dollars http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-24-class-23-5-8-diag--led-720p-hdtv-black/9105014.p?id=1219398147335&skuId=9105014 Has HDMI / Antenna / etc 7800 looks great and much brighter than last version
CPUWIZ
Cheap? For a 720p? I gave away a 32" LG one recently, brand new in the box. Came with my 4K 55" screen as a freebie, since they have a tough time selling these outdated displays.
Rhomaios
If it only has HDMI, how do you plug your 7800 into it?
Zonie
Does it have external power brick? (12V)
JonnyBritish
should have been clearer http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-24LB451B-led-tv Did not care it was only 720p as i only want it for retro consoles and as a replacement from the previous gen LG TV Monitor it is way better. Had great fun playing moon cresta and yes it does have an external power brick. Here are the ports. Rhomaios
No s-video? How do you live in those conditions!! That was my thought last year. I had a Samsung LCD that had s-video die on me. I went looking in several places for a new one with s-video, but they entirely phased it out by now. Ended up with an old Trinitron instead. Who needs LCD when real TVs can still be had for cheap (< $20)?
Jinks
An ole Trini is a great for classic gaming.
