Zap!
Ever since I first got Fighting Street (Street Fighter I) for my Turbo Grafx CD-ROM in 1990, I have always thought that the initial music (when you are selecting the countries) is the greatest opening theme ever in a video game. Am I crazy or does anyone agree? You decide:

Rhomaios
Greatest? Probably not, but it's a solid tune. I wouldn't fault anyone for thinking so.
BinaryStar
Its not bad in a Harold Faltermeyer meets Jan Hammer way, I dig it. Not a classic opener by any means but at least it's better than the game itself.
roland p
I dig the synths.
+Charlie Cat
Hi guys, I like it. I personally like the whole remix soundtrack for the game in general! It gave the game new life for SF1. Lee and Gen stage music are my favorite in the game! Anthony... Did they ever tighten up the controls? It's impossible to do any special moves in the MAME version. Zap!
Fighting Street: Champion Edition? Did they ever tighten up the controls? It's impossible to do any special moves in the MAME version. In 1991 when I heard they were coming out with a sequel I was like WHY!!! SFI was not a good game at all, so I wondered why they bothered. Little did I know that it would be perhaps the greatest sequel ever made. Definitely the best number two to a bad number one ever.
