pixelmischief
I have TOS 4.01 in my Falcon. I want to upgrade it to TOS 4.04. I have a Willem programmer with a PLCC32 adapter. Is the component at the link below what I need? http://www.ebay.com/itm/HITACHI-HN27C4096CC-12-PLCC-EPROM-27C4096CC-Collectible-/370298462799?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item563782224f
frank.lukas
If the Eprom is 16bit wide, look at the datasheet ...

Second, that chip is 120ns (-12) so it should be good. My falcon has a 150ns (-15) chip in it and I think it is the original. Also, check to make sure those are blanked or you may need a UV eraser. Also, check to make sure those are blanked or you may need a UV eraser.Yeah, I have a UV eraser. Got it way back when I needed to burn 27C64's for my XF-551 3.5" upgrade. Thanks Mr. Woolley. Fletch
Sounds like you're making your own, but if for some reason you need to purchase one, it looks like B&C has it for sale. ICSFAL TOS 4.04 FOR Falcon 45.
