0078265317
I have too many video games. Want to clean up. I wish I could keep it all but I'm running out of space and my mom also wants to get rid of everything. I'd like to keep my Atari and few others. But I have so many I hardly use any more. And also I would also like to upgrade to some modern day systems also. The old stuff is good for nostalgia sake but only so much you can play before it gets boaring. I'll start with ebay probably. I have 2 ps1. One grey original with red, white, and yellow jacks in the back. And one mini white square version that they made later right before ps2. I don't have any ps2 or 3 or 4. Just the 2 early day ones. I also have a dreamcast and 2 controllers and a bunch of demo games. The dreamcast verion I have takes burned cds. Some didn't. And 2 av cords I believe. Also a used Nintendo 64 with 1 controller and 18 some games. I mean 1 original controller. I also have 1 wave controller. That one with the wheel in the center. I paid 50 at gamestop many years ago 1 controller all the cords and 1 game with the Nintendo 64. Now not sure what its worth. And I have a lot of handhelds but not sure if its worth getting rid of. I have 3 original Gameboy. All work but 2 have lies on the sides. Not good. And 1 color Gameboy with original box and manual. And one color Gameboy used no box. And 1 Gameboy advanced sp and original Gameboy advanced non sp. And 1 micro Gameboy and 1 ds lite with few games for ds lite not many. And a lot of gba games. maybe 15 or so I forget. And I have 1 fat ds broken. I tried to replace the housing and failed now it won't turn on. Screen blinks but no turn on. And I have 2 gamecube. 1 with external screen. And 1 withoutl. Both purple. I have Gameboy player with cd also I know is rare. But if I sell the handhelds (haven't decided) then I don't need the player also. The other one console is not worth much. But I'll take 5 dollars or whatever. And if I can find a 2600 adapter for 5200 to play the games I can get rid of my 2600 telegames. And I have a flashback 1 also. I will start with the nintendo64 maybe. All is used no box and no mint I have these games. Knockout kings 2000 Madden99 Ready 2 rumble Boxing Wipeout 64 extreme-2 xg2 Allstar baseball 99 WF war zone (wrestling game) Excitebike 64 NHL breakaway 98 Mayhem (also wrestling) Turok 1,2,and 3. 3 has a lot of sticker residue on it. Wayne gretzky's 98 3d hockey F1 world grand prix (bad label) Starwars Episode 1 Racer Tony Hawks pro skater Super64Mario And I have 1 controller with ac adapter and av cable. And I have 1 gameshark with red label and 1 memory card (not sure on size) and 1 generic rumble pack. Can't find the wheel controller though. So for those 18 games and the stuff right under it with the n64 of course how much should I start at? Or what should I expect for all that? Start with the N64 for now and see how it goes. Do the rest later. I will post in the market place once I have made an ebay auction. I'm just trying to get an idea where to start.
RJ
The old stuff is good for nostalgia sake but only so much you can play before it gets boring. Um, how dare you. You dont post on a website named for the grandaddy of all gaming systems & say that. Anyhoo, give the Flashback 1 to Goodwill, or free with one of your eventual sales. It's crap. Good luck.
+LS650
I'd recommend moving this thread to the Market forum.

fiddlepaddle
Good luck, and try to have fun with it as it goes out the door. I suggest you keep a few things you've really enjoyed, even if you think you're done with it, as you will probably get nostalgic at some point and want to replay them. They may be harder to replace in the future than they were to acquire, as many of these items seem to be showing up less often, and in worse condition as time goes on... BassGuitari
Wow, how old are you? I thought we were all old guys on this forum! Not to be shitty, but living with one's mom might not always be the best indicator of age on a gaming forum. And anyway, there are a lot of younger people into the oldies. At 30 I'm not sure if I can include myself in that category anymore, but I've been collecting since my teens (aka the 32-bit Era). It's a small group, I'm sure, but it's there. But more to the topic, pretty much what Fiddlepaddle said. I've thought about selling certain things a few times, and have later been REALLY glad I didn't. However, the very young age indicator was when he/she said "and my mom also wants to get rid of everything." I know all parents are different, but mine gave up on me throwing anything out when I was around 10.
