Opry99er
I was close on most of it. Truly a beautiful system, sparkdrummer.
+jedimatt42
Heres some pics of my #1 console - Been using this'n for about 25 years or so. Sorry about the blurry pix. DSC09880.JPG ... Do you have a pick of this with the pony tail? er, keyboard connected to it? I'd love to see that. I used to have one of these Rave99 keyboard adapters, I loved it. I learned to touch type on it. ti99iuc
This could be a funny mod but seems to a fake, isn't it ?
+Ksarul
Wouldn't the cartridge ram into the keytops every time you removed it?
ti99iuc
No space is accurate, if you pay attention the cartridge does not hit the keys. However the keys are fake, so the real problem doesn't exist it was just for joke
F.G. Kaal
Is it something like this your're after? Fred Edited September 2, 2017 by F.G. Kaal
PeBo
Although there are some impressive mods here (the Atari XL laptop is schweet - I want one!), my own personal hero when it comes to modding has to be Fabrice Montupet. He has shared photos of some amazing FrankensTInes, that have made my jaw drop. I've posted this one in several similar threads, but it never gets old! And this one's not a fake!! Now tell me that is not a thing of beauty! The function keys alone make me drool! The innards are equally impressive - all fitting into a standard console. Nothing short of awe-inspiring! +Ksarul
Actually, a hex pad would be a very useful thing, @Fred. I like it!

Absolutely agreed I always told to Fabrice that this TI-99 is the most beautiful one i ever seen so professional. He always named it TIxx this was a my older Post about it, it is incredible. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/236611-the-most-modded-ti-console-in-existence/?do=findComment&comment=3231983
PeBo
Thanks Ciro, I went looking for that post to link to when I wrote mine, but I suck at searching the forums, so I opted tolink to the pic on Fabrice's site. He is so insanely skilled, that as I said, he's my modding hero (although his talent fills me with envy).
