bigbacon
Is there an easy one out there? Like a board and everything? I've modded some other stuff in the past (7800, gensis) so I feel I could do it with some really good instructions/photos. I have two 5200 on the way and would like to av mod one of them. SegaAtari
I´ve been looking for the kit too. But I can`t find it. Can anybody help?
+SabertoothRetro
Try electronic sentimentalities. I havent used his 5200 board but I have two of the 7800 boards installed and they are great. http://electronicsentimentalities.com/Assembled%20Mods.html
+-^CrossBow^-
The 5200 board from Electronicsentimentalities is excellent! I've done three 5200s using their kit and they all look fantastic! However, I do highly suggest that you solder the pins from the Gtia directly to the board for best visual quality. If you mount the board somewhere inside the case and then use wires to connect to the GTIA pins, you might get noise in the signal like color bleed, etc.
namedjughead
I am looking for directions for a composite only mod. Most schematics out there are for composite / s-video. My TV only has one s-video port, and it's being used for my Nintendo Wii right now. Does anyone have any instructions for a composite only AV mod for the 5200? bigbacon
can anyone also point me to the parts needed for the power mod? I have another 4 port on the way (after selling my original one) and I want to do that as well.

Lord Helmet
Anyone still doing composite mods on the 5200? Doesn't look like Electronic Sentimentalities is making them anymore, and they haven't returned my email inquiry... Can you not even just order up the boards for the DIY kit? I had still planned to mod my other 5200 at some point but needed to purchase the board and honestly their 5200 setup looks fantastic! I guess we will have to wait on Bryan to get more UAV's made up and go that route. I assume if his boards work on the 800xl..etc then it can work on the 5200 as well.
