Hi @all,

currently i´m doing the portable-mod like described on ben heck´s site on a german 2600 PAL console.

This mod also includes an AV mod to use the AV Signals on a LCD Screen direct from the TIA .

So i thought... is it possible to add a switch for the last remaining differences between both Models?

So far i know there are only two things to:

hard-switch the two clock-frequencies and hard-switch the Signals comming from the TIA:

For PAL (6526P):

  7,5,6 LUM0,LUM1,LUM3 13,12,8 AUD,PALS,PALI ;AUD is audio AUD0+AUD1 merged on one pin

For NTSC:

  8,5,7 LUM0,LUM1,LUM2 13,12,6 AUD0,AUD1,/BLK ;Pin6 exist in 2600 only (not 2600A?)

Am i right?

Please feel free to spend me an Hint.

Rene´
