The Beach Boys !

Just to add fuel to the fire: Scott specifically told me to pay attention to the character names. One of them: Bruce Johnson. The Beach Boys' core members through a good deal of the career included Al Jardine, Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Dennis Wilson, and....Bruce Johnston. :) So, yeah....you got it!

(I don't think this counts as two questions because there as an "or" in the question....since you met the requirement of answering the question, might as well get the other half of the town. Tommy Torrance's back story reflects the lyrics of The Trade Winds' "New York's A Lonely Town," the lyrics being about a surfer who had to relocate from California to NYC and as a result could no longer surf.)

Ok, so I'm not sure why amnesia struck me this week, but tonight's play session reminded me that you have to play this game like a bat out of hell. Slow and steady LOSES the race EVERY time. So with that, I was able to increase my score a little bit before the deadline. I'm satisfied with 231130 on to Zaxxon!

231130

Star Fox and Wing War?

Close! I was looking for Star Fox & Gauntlet.

I never knew about Wing War, not sure if that was "extremely popular," but i do see it's a 90's game. Now I see I blew it again! Gauntlet came out in 1985 :ponder:. well, it was still popular in the nickel-arcades early 90's. anyway your answer was closer, so (+1)

Bonus Question #1: When Atari sued GCC (General Computer Corporation) for selling an add-on board (Super Missile Attack) for Atari's Missile Command, what was the fee that GCC paid their attorney?

congratulations, you scored a stumper! To claim your (+2) bonus, can you tell us the answer?

Their attorney, Jerry Hoser, agreed to be their lawyer for three meals a day for his work.
