high voltage
Had lots of shelves and all sorts of games within my main room, now I moved everything non-Atari into a different room. More space now for my PC/printer (not visible) and lots of wall space for VCS. Edited March 22, 2015 by high voltage

+cvga
That's awesome. Where do you keep the actual carts? Are they in the boxes?

Gandor
Did you make the shelving or buy is somewhere? I'm looking for something similar.
high voltage
@cvga: Yes, carts are kept in the boxes. @Gandor: The big shelf is selfmade, it used to be blue, painted it half white. The other shelves are from Ikea, they are CD/DVD/video shelves. I like those as I can get to Ikea via bus ride, and the packing is 2m high, but not very wide, so with the item I can take a bus ride back
Andromeda Stardust
Hey, are those Nintendo plushies I see. LOL I got a ton too! http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?StartRow=1&catid=5&threadid=136316 But I could never separate my systems into rooms like that, unless I had a metric ton of games. The Nintendos and Ataris will forever share adjacent shelves. Someday when I move in with my fiance I'll be able to better display my games since my bedroom won't have to double as my bedroom. Also, got pics of your other game room? Edited March 23, 2015 by stardust4ever
high voltage
Yes, they're nice. Don't like the flying Mario though, should've been a different style perhaps?
Nebulon
Okay, what are the non-Atari Nintendo plushies doing in there?! Nice collection, by the way. It sent chills down my spine.
high voltage
Yeah, Mario and DK went from arcade to Atari, so they fit (Later Nintendo stole them back for their own consoles)
high voltage
Also, got pics of your other game room? Work in progress (need shelves)
steeltree
If I had a room like that my wife would never see me again.
Metal Jesus
I'm always jealous of collectors that have those rows of original Atari boxes.. So beautiful!
high voltage
Thanks some are not original boxes, like Mr Do's Castle, Q Bert Qubes, Picnic and some more Edited March 24, 2015 by high voltage
WolfAmongWolves
Wow, great collection, very nice! What are those boxes on the bottom shelf on the very right (the only shelf that still has some space left)? Some of them look like they just have plain sides, I haven't seen those before. high voltage
Thanks The boxes are the German Otto Versand (mail order) remakes, Taiwan rip-offs. 2 carts in the box, two different covers (front and back), no writing on spine. +Random Terrain
@Gandor: The big shelf is selfmade, it used to be blue, painted it half white. I painted a book shelf back in 1999 and everything I put on it stuck to it. Must have been the wrong kind of paint. Stuff still sticks to it. high voltage
Also some games are copies, eg Waterworld, Crazy Climber, Elis Ladder, Glib, and a few more.

high voltage
Okay, what are the non-Atari Nintendo plushies doing in there?! Nice collection, by the way. It sent chills down my spine. See what I mean, Pac-Man for example is a Atari game, according to news rags: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3020361/Now-play-Pac-Man-GOOGLE-MAPS-Search-engine-transforms-streets-giant-version-1980s-Atari-game.html Edited April 1, 2015 by high voltage
