Atari Charles
The 2nd Dimension Todd wants to go back in time by any means possible to attend a Black Sabbath Concert in the 1970's. Todd acquired some rare earth crystals from a witch on Whyte Avenue and some S.E.T.I. technology he found disposed of behind his apartment building. Todd journeyed to mountain in the south to open what he thought would be a time portal. Little did Todd know that in fact the portal would open up a gateway not to the past, but to the 2nd Dimension. You are Todd and with your (ahem) found laser rifle have entered the 2nd Dimension. There you must do battle with various flying 2nd Dimensional Entities to save Earth from this most hostile invader. Screenshot coming soon. A.I. Project 2014(New Code) We are proud to present the A.I. Project, which is the first Digital Life Form for your Atari 2600 Video Game System. Watch your Sea Cy-Ghost swim around its surroundings gobbling up food, sleeping, and playing. The Sea Cy-Ghost will also react with you via your Joystick. But don't worry, it is friendly. Well these days are back with Goblin Chaser. Lord Gray has requested your attendance at his Castle. He requests your help pushing back the goblin invasion before it is too late. You are a great warrior who must seek out and slay the evil goblins who are infesting the Kingdom of Zumwalt. Can you slay the beasts or will the land be overrun by the goblin horde. http://www.atari2600homebrew.com/goblin-chaser.html Monster Ball It is Halloween and a living crazy jackolatern is on the loose gobbling up candy and people in the quiet town of Foster. What can Greg do to stop this evil menace? Greg decides to go to the local graveyard and cast the spell Animate Dead. Through the black dirt came forth two drunk zombies Charles and Derek. Did they eat Greg? No, luckily Greg still had mind control over these undead creatures. So Greg sent the zombies Charles and Derek to bounce out this wicked jackolatern out of town once and for all. http://www.atari2600homebrew.com/monster-ball.html The Shaman You are The Shaman living peacefully on Earth with your seven cats. You have been teleported in your terracraft from your forest home on Earth to the far away Galaxy ST41. There you must do battle against the evil forces of the undead overlord Darrel the Lich of Whyte. Can you stop Darrel's wicked plans to destroy Galaxy ST41? http://www.atari2600homebrew.com/the-shaman.html Sunset Drive This is the world's first Atari game featuring a high resolution 96x96 scrolling bitmap. It uses just about every VCS trick in the book from bank indexing to interlacing and even flicker display to achieve the first game of its kind on the Atari 2600 console! You are the Candyman and you have just found out your girlfriend is a user. You are sitting in a dive bar infamously known as Lusters located on the mean streets of Edmonton, Alberta. You look around the smokey bar and see users, losers, and chain-smoking boozers. You finish off your beer and it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. It is like you are looking at a room of living corpses who don't know they are dead yet. You get up to leave, and a random gal asks, "Hey babe, can I catch a lift?" You smile, shake your head and answer, "I don't look back." As you leave Lusters, you just can't wait to get back to the country. You get in your old and rusty F-150 Pick-Up Truck and drive into the country. You feel the gritty road beneath you as your tires crunch over the gravel road. Wind flies through your hair as the AM station plays a familiar song. You are going too fast, but you don't care. "Death makes angels of us all...", you remember. You just need to clear your mind. The sun is setting, so what a better time to go on a Sunset Drive. You will encounter all sorts of crazy things on the lonely country road. The longer distance you drive, the more CANDY you will get as indicated by your CANDY COUNTER. Remember how much you like giving CANDY to the waitresses at the bar, so drive well. You will find GAS CANS that will give you fuel so that you may continue your wild drive and fuel your TRUCK and lawnmower. There are SLEAZY HITCHHIKERS who want to catch a ride, but look out, they will rob you of all your CANDY and slow you down. Beware of those tempting BOTTLES OF BEER. They will get you drunk and you will lose 1 CANDY for each BOTTLE OF BEER you drink. Also, BOTTLES OF BEER can slow you down, if you drink too much. Even if you are wasted, please stay on the ROAD. If you drive on the GRASS, you will use up more fuel. So keep on truckin'. You are the CANDYMAN. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=644688255643120&id=643369305775015 Available here:http://www.gooddealgames.com/inventory/Atari%202600.htmlVisit our Facebook Page:https://www.facebook.com/GrayGamesAtari Edited March 26, 2015 by Atari Charles

Atari Charles
I doubt videos will be up anytime soon. But I added links up above to where you can see the screenshots. When the rest are added by the webmaster, I will update the 1st post with links. Edited March 25, 2015 by Atari Charles
+save2600
Ewww... non AA home-brews! I kid. Seriously though, in this day and age, everyone, including Good Deal Games should provide screen shots at_the_very_least for their offerings. See some interesting titles with some nice label art, but no way am I plunking down any kind of money before seeing a few screenshots or vids of the gameplay. All these home-brews coming out of the woodwork lately, but little to no information about them!

Bodyshots
Video would be best, to be honest, to me, a screenshot is just a picture and can't give the feel of the game. I'm genuinely interested, if the write ups are as good as the games. I would be willing to receive all these games and do s-video vhs recordings of them, then edited with commentary and upload to my youtube channel if you wish
Atari Charles
Let me think on the video and the best way to do this. I have been very busy with many things, hence why I don't even handle the sale of Gray Games releases anymore. There are a few more releases coming out very soon, and then a few more slated for the end of the year. That's all I can really say.

Chris Leach
i just received two of their new games ($50+ later)...... the labels are poorly printed with lines down them and the cuts are very unprofessional. The games I received are just hacks of other games! Talk them up all you want but as far as them being new atari homebrews, the two I received are just hacks. sunset drive is just a poorly done hack over yars revenge programming and the et returns to the planet is just a hack of et with the man in the overcoat switched to being a space invaders character. I wasted my money for sure......think I can send them back? I am a firm believer in the atariage stores homebrews when you are looking for quality and something new to play... I fell like I just bought two games from the Hozer guy? and then I see this in the signature now that Im on a desktop? (http://hozervideo.ne...tore/store.html) Oh No...>! VectorGamer
I wouldn't even consider purchasing a home brew unless I see a game play video.
Bodyshots
I wouldn't even consider purchasing a home brew unless I see a game play video. I'm with you on this one… I purchased some games… (not homebrew/hacks) I'll have them this weekend if not sooner. I'll do a brief review here when I receive them. To date the person I've dealt with in email @ gooddealgames has been very accommodating, polite and quick to reply.

It is really up to the person on whether the games are good or bad. Sunset Drive is not a hack but a homebrew, but think of it as you wish. Just like another poster thought The Shaman was a hack but was proven wrong. And the usual Hozer bashing comes in. I agree Atari Age games are well done. Yes, Hozer manufactures all of the Atari 2600 Gray Games video games for Good Deal Games. I have been happy with Randy's work in the past and now. Yes it is up to you who you buy games from and so on. It sounds like Buyer's Remorse to me once you discovered the absolute horror that Hozer manufactured these games. I think if it was the exact same games but manufactured by Atari Age, you would be writing stellar reviews of how much you like the games. I'm saying sunset is a hack cause it clearly uses the years revenge game background. And sound as the game starts up. ? Is that not a hack. And no one is bashing hozer but even their games r cheaper priced

And no one is bashing hozer but even their games r cheaper priced It seems your post was somewhat insulting and seemed to bash Hozer to some degree. But you have a right to your opinion. I didn't program Sunset Drive, but I can talk to the programmer and see what he has to say about it. All games will have some similarities especially with the sound register of the Atari 2600. In my opinion, Sunset Drive is a homebrew. But I can 100% find out for sure.

I don't understand how it can be a vertical based game with 96x96 scrolling bitmap that uses indexing, interlacing, flicker display, mode 7 rotation and blast processing yet be a hack of Yars' Revenge? I'm missing something.

Hold one of Randy's steamers up to that ET I sent you and you tell me which one is more cosmetically pleasing. The differences you will notice are a major problem most people note when they get Hozed.
Chris Leach
this thread pisses me off! Im sorry albert, but the Et game I bought is a hackjob and the sunset drive game is as close to a hack as I can stand, it might not be yars revenge, but man it sure does look awfully familiar.! Not sure why these r being advertised as new homebrews.. rant done ! Shawn >>> yer labels are top quality. these labels do not look like the link on Facebook... Chris Leach
screenshots since i cant get video to upload! ET Mutha Truckin part II notice the scan lines in the sunset drive from top to bottom, like it was printed on a commodore printer or something.....? i didnt even have them a week and the labels are already peeling off...... can i take my Frogger cart and change the colors and add a donkey graphic in instead of a frog and call it my first homebrew game and rename it Frogger III the Ass Rides Again? Atari Charles
Thanks for sharing. I'm not interested in buying many hacks but I do like to purchase new original games. Does your Sunset Drive look like the picture linked in facebook? I don't understand how it can be a vertical based game with 96x96 scrolling bitmap that uses indexing, interlacing, flicker display, mode 7 rotation and blast processing yet be a hack of Yars' Revenge? I'm missing something. Sunset Drive is not hack. Interesting how Chris chose not to upload the pictures of his TV screen while playing Sunset Drive. I am happy with the labels themselves and I don't expect them to be like Atari Age's with the rounded corners. I am ok they are handcut. I am not happy about the labels peeling. None of my carts previously made by Hozer have peeled. So I apologize for the end labels peeling. Again Sunset Drive is not a hack. Just like The Shaman is not a hack. But if you need to believe it is a hack then believe it is a hack. I got the carts that Shawn made(I can't comment on the release yet as it has not been released yet) and yes they were nice! Shawn has a real talent for sure. Chris I did get a laugh at your comical postings, but really it is just an excuse to Hozer Bash. Hozer sucks, blah, blah, blah. Buy the games; don't buy the games; do as you wish.
