LED on, no stepper head movement. Jumpers set up for EPROM, which I am using. Have tried different drive mech, and swapped out all five socketed chips. Still just starts and stops. +bob1200xl Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 When the drive powers on, it runs some tests, loading regs and reading them back - things like that. If it fails, it just branches to the beginning and tries again.. and again.. and again. Sadly, there is no indication as what is happening, just that it failed the bring-up tests. Be nice if they flashed the power light a certain number of times, but they didn't. This doesn't help you much. You should try to get a commented source code listing and see what it may be doing.
