EvilDoctorShortCrust
At last here is a proper solution to produe AV from your 2600 without defacing the pcb. Totally reversable and descrete, plus now has dual compatibility with PAL and NTSC. Have place sales ad in Supermarket section but wanted to let people know and discuss firther here in hardware. See here Cheaper via sales thread on forum of course
7800fan
That looks very easy compared to other mod board. No messy wires, just line up the board to the TIA chip on the solder (bottom) side, solder in pins, set the bridges for NTSC or PAL system, and just one set of wire for video and audio out. Looks like something a caveman can do it. I would buy if it worked for 7800. I may buy it anyway for my 2600 Jr that has bad RF box (sound OK, grainy video, O-scope shows normal signal into RF modulator, probably dead inside the little silver box)
EvilDoctorShortCrust
It won't work on 7800 unfortunately. Well it will but only for 2600 games as this fixes directly to the TIA but 7800 games don't use the TIA.
