I keep getting the same error message

Recommended Posts

I was trying to make a game with Batari Basic using the Tinkernut turorial but whenever I try to compile it, it says, "2600 Basic compilation failed!
LINE --> player0x = 50 : player0y = 50
Post compilation files deleted"

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I typed the line "player0x=50:player0y=50", I named the main player "player0" and the enemy "player1", but no matter what I do I keep getting that same message. What am I doing wrong?

I too am having the same problem. I read somewhere that the Tinkernut Tutorial is outdated. Pretty frustrating considering THAT I CANNOT FIND A SINGLE OTHER TUTORIAL. Literally whenever I look up Visual BB tutorial it's just the Tinkernut tutorial and a bunch of people who downloaded the video for the Tinkernut tutorial and posted it on their own channel.

Also (This may be a noob question), what is Whitespace?
