Coke Zero

Ok, let me see if I understand this. What I am seeing there is possible on the VCS. As in, you could put that on a cart and I could plug it into my Atari and I could see that on my TV here at home? Is that what I am seeing?

You, sir, are some kind of freaking wizard.

Holy SCHIT!! If I'd seen just a screenshot of that last bit I'd have been like "piss off, you're so full of shit your eyes are brown"

That's damn impressive though. I didn't know you could have a dual color 48pixel sprite (I assume that's what that is) The demo was awesome. 38 years later and the ol 2600 is still throwing out surprises. :)

A picture really doesn't do justice to the demo.

I would have uploaded a video myself, but since I deleted my YouTube account (due to Google's unbearable new privacy interfering demands), I hadn't looked for an alternative until now. So I just opened an account on dailymotion.com where I will upload a video tonight (after work ;)).

Did it taste any different?

I drink Coke Zero when I'm out, it's very close in taste to regular coke. I don't care for diet Coke and will get unsweetened iced tea instead if the place doesn't have Coke Zero.

When I'm home I drink Cola Free, the Sodastream equivalent to Coke Zero.

Coke Zero tastes nothing like real Coke to me. But then, I can't stand any soda with artificial sweetener in it. I switched over to Mexican Coke a few years back (still made with actual sugar) and I was surprised how different (and better) it is. It instantly reminded me of the Coke I drank as a kid, before they started tampering with their formula. I rarely drink soda now, but when I do, I treat myself by getting the good stuff.
