Timex Sinclair 2068 noisy video - repair?

Anyone know who I could contact to look at and repair my 2068 that has extremely noisy RF and composite video? I would like the computer tested overall and the video output cleaned up.

That is pretty nasty. I don't have a definite answer for you but I'd try resoldering connections first and then try recapping the video out if the soldering doesn't help.

Seems to me one of the Sinclair or Timex models has a part backwards on the circuit but I'm not sure if it impacts the 2068.

I found the yahoo group last night and posted a message. I attached a picture of the motherboard and can't believe all the reworks.. I saw a few other pictures of 2068 motherboards and I thought they all looked like this. I'm amazed they went through production like this!

Looks to me like they knew they had some grounding and noise issues but they clearly hadn't worked out all the problems when they rushed it to manufacturing.

Seems to me some of the engineering docs indicate there were supposed to be more features on the machine but the engineers weren't given time to finish it.
Basically, that's a stripped down prototype.
