Noah98
I saw a loose XEGS Karateka cart at the flea market today for $40. Is that a fair price for it?
+save2600
No video game should cost that much at a flea market. Okay, except maybe something like Battlesphere.
Noah98
It seemed high, but that game is usually really expensive on ebay so I wasn't sure.
Paul Westphal
No, that's way to high...pass it up. Now, Where exactly is the flea market? It worth $80.

AtariGeezer
I saw a loose XEGS Karateka cart at the flea market today for $40. Is that a fair price for it? That's exactly what I paid for one on ebay a year ago...
Noah98
So, I'm getting a mixed message here! Worth it, not worth it?
Rybags
The only way it's worth $40 is if it's extraordinarily rare. Even then, the XEGS carts had cheap packaging and the carts themselves paled insofar as physical quality vs the old brown ones with protective door. Personally I wouldn't pay much over 5 bucks for it. I had 3 XEGS sealed games, fairly sure I've still got 2, I cracked one open without thinking about it or caring about destroying a couple of dollars extra value. Mclaneinc
Seems to me that if you are a collector then its a lot of money but if you are looking to make a small profit then buy it and sell it on Ebay.
ApolloBoy
That's not too bad for Karateka, I'd snag that in a heartbeat considering what it goes for online now.

I'm a collector. I definitely don't want to flip it on ebay.
Atari8guy
By the time you factor in shipping on Ebay, $40 is totally reasonable to a slight deal. I paid more than that for mine, but not orders of magnitude more....
