Sealed NOS TI-99/4A Computer

All of my Silver TI's that were new were sealed with a Green Label on the box. I saw some Beige TI's that have a clear label like a large piece of packing tape. Did the beige NOS ones not have the Green seal on the box like the Silver units had?

Correct. The green seals were added to the black and silver boxes as part of a recall action to fix the external power supplies by adding a fuse in the line. Early ones didn't have the green tape either--and they had a box that was plain cardboard with a sleeve on the outside of it that resembled the regular box you have pictured (just without the small pictures on the ends because that was where the sleeve openings were).

What about the Beige ones? I see some that have what looks like wide packaging tape but they are claiming that they are NOS and sealed from the manufacturer.
